Cathay Pacific Cargo recognises its top Hong Kong customers

Celebrating the best of the city’s cargo industry at the Top Agents Award Dinner 2020

Cathay Pacific Cargo’s Hong Kong Sales Team welcomed leading customers to its Top Agents Award Dinner 2020 to thank them for their support. The event, held at the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong in October, saw 44 awards presented to the airline’s cargo customers.

Guests were welcomed by Cathay Pacific Director Cargo, Tom Owen, and General Manager Cargo Commercial, George Edmunds, who hosted the ceremony and led the toast. Also in attendance to represent the Cathay Pacific Group’s management team were: General Manager Cargo Service Delivery, Frosti Lau; Chief Operating Officer of Air Hong Kong, Clarence Tai; HK Express CEO, Mandy Ng; Cathay Pacific Services Ltd (CPSL) Chief Operating Officer, Mark Watts; Head of Cargo Global Partnerships, James Conlin; and Head of Cargo Sales Hong Kong, Frank Yau.

Tom thanked customers for their continued support during a year of unprecedented challenges and assured them Cathay Pacific Cargo was doing all it could to offer the capacity they required. Looking to the future, he shared some of Cathay Pacific Cargo’s plans to invest in digitalisation across the business, maintain its commitment to Hong Kong as a strategic air traffic hub, and become the world’s most customer-centric air-cargo brand.

Awards given out on the night to customers included Outstanding Route Performance, Outstanding Product Development, Business Partner, as well as the prize for this year’s Rising Star. See the picture carousel for more information on the winners and images from a memorable evening.
