Cathay Pacific Cargo thanks Top Agents

We recognised our customers’ support in challenging times

Cathay Pacific Cargo’s Hong Kong sales team held its Top Agents Award Dinner at The Ritz-Carlton, to thank leading cargo agents for their continued support.

The event took place across three evening sessions in March and April to allow for social distancing requirements, having been delayed from the year before.

A total of 42 awards were presented over 9 March, 12 March and 13 April, including the Top Agents Award, Outstanding Route Performance Award, Outstanding Product Development, Business Partner Award as well as the Rising Star Award.

Director Cargo, Tom Owen hosted the ceremony, alongside General Manager Cargo Commercial, George Edmunds; Head of Cargo Global Partnerships, James Conlin; and Head of Cargo Sales Hong Kong, Frank Yau.

Tom and George thanked the agents for their support, particularly over the past two years, which have been a rollercoaster period for air cargo.

They gave an overview of the impact of COVID-19 on Cathay Pacific Cargo’s operations – noting that despite all the challenges, there are plenty of reasons to remain optimistic about the outlook of the business.

Tom emphasised that Cathay Pacific Cargo will continue to be agile and committed to investing in its products, infrastructure and customer experience, while also remaining dedicated to offering a quality and reliable Vaccine Solution to help the global community navigate its way back to normality.
